Car Suffers Damage After Collision with Unseen Obstacle

An unusual road incident occurred last week when a car collided with an unexpected obstacle on Persiaran Agacia, resulting in damage to the vehicle.

The incident, which occurred on 12 April at approximately 7:45 p.m., highlights the challenges posed by poorly lit roads and neglected infrastructure.

The driver, who requested anonymity, was traveling along Persiaran Agacia at a moderate speed of 40 kilometers per hour towards Meadow Park when his vehicle struck a stick that was lodged in the middle of the road. Sources suggest that the road, lacking proper lighting and maintenance, presented hazardous conditions for road users, particularly during the night.

"The road was very dark, and I couldn't see anything ahead," recounted the driver. "I didn't even realize there was an obstacle until it was too late."

Upon closer examination, it was discovered that the stick had been placed strategically within a pothole, potentially serving as a makeshift warning sign for unsuspecting drivers. However, the lack of adequate lighting made it virtually impossible for road users to detect such hazards in advance.

The collision resulted in damage to the car, with the paint job of the skirting scratched and broken. While the extent of the damage was relatively minor, the incident serves as a sobering reminder of the risks associated with poorly maintained roads and insufficient lighting.

"It's not just about this one incident. This road has been neglected by the Public Works Department for far too long," expressed by the driver. "We need better lighting and road maintenance to ensure the safety of everyone who uses it."

夜晚开车不见树枝耸立路面 驾驶者不幸卷入交通事故

金宝近日交通事故频发。日前（4月12日）一辆轿车在Agacia城一带因路况因素发生意外。

该辆轿车在晚上7点45分以每小时40公里的低速行驶前往Meadow Park，却在路经Agacia城时不幸撞上位置路中间的树枝，导致该轿车前侧损坏。
