Ramadan Bazaar moved to Dataran Bandar Baru

The annual Ramadan Bazaar in Kampar has been moved to Dataran Bandar Baru, creating a more spacious and inviting atmosphere. This relocation has expanded capacities for visitors and vendors this year.
Meanwhile, the bazaar boasted 60 tents and approximately 150 stalls, offering a diverse array of foods including traditional kuih, Roti John, Otak-Otak, Keropok Lekor, as well as staple foods and more.
The transformation of Dataran Bandar Baru into a culinary haven has captured the attention of locals Around 5:30 pm, the bazaar is full of visitors to start strolling and buying their dinner.
One of the traders, Mohammad Shaimram, who sells onde-onde, tells Kampar Daily that they have been running their business for over 12 years. Before this location, they used to sell their food at Jalan Terminal Kampar.
"The previous location was narrow, but this new place is more spacious and bustling with a larger crowd as it is near UTAR and located in a residential area. Consequently, there are more students and residents visiting the bazaar," he said
The Ramadan Bazaar is operating from 3PM until 7PM for this whole period of Ramadan.

金宝斋戒市集搬迁啦!
每年原定设在金宝路一号终点站(Jalan Terminal Kampar)的斋戒市集,今年搬 迁到金宝新街场大广场(Dataran Bandar Baru),如今的场地相较之前可容纳更多人。
一名售卖了12年椰丝糯米球(Onde-Onde)的巫裔摊主莫哈末沙姆拉姆 Mohammad Shaimram)受访时指出,之前市集所在的的位置摊位较为狭窄,如今的新地方更宽敞,并且能汇集更多人流,因为这里附近聚集了住宅区以及大学,许多大学生和居民都会慕名而来。
另外,该市集共设有60个帐篷,汇集了150种不同的摊位供民众选择,据本报记者观察,该市集在约傍晚5时30分左右,便吸引了不少各族民众前来购买晚餐。
市集所售卖的各类美食更是令人垂涎三尺,其中包括了各种传统糕点、大马国民美食长型面包(Roti John)、乌达(Otak-Otak)、炸鱼饼(Lekor)以及其他主食如海南鸡饭和炒面条。
该市集在斋戒月期间都将于下午3时开始营业至晚上7时。
