Three-Car Minor Accident Caused by Blind Spot Results in No Injuries

A minor accident involving three vehicles occurred on 8 April on Jalan Batu Sinar leaves zero injuries, highlighting the dangers of blind spots on the road.

A driver tried to drive from a side road into the driveway, but due to a blind spot in his vision, failed to notice the normal straight-moving vehicle, which resulted in a series of collisions between three cars.

The incident occurred at 5:07 PM on the 8th of April on Jalan Batu Sinar near Masjid As-Suhada', amidst noticeably increased traffic flow due to the upcoming Hari Raya holiday.

According to witnesses at the scene, the black Toyota Camry involved in the accident initially turned from the housing area's small entrance on the far right and tried to enter the lane. The driver's line of sight was blocked and he failed to notice the Perodua Axia driving normally in the left lane in time, causing the two cars to collide.

"The car that was struck subsequently lost control due to the sudden impact and collided with the Toyota Vios waiting at the traffic light. This incident resulted in a three-car collision."

He said that no one was injured in the accident and that the vehicle involved was parked for investigation after the accident.

The news correspondent of Kampar Daily noticed that this area is an area prone to car accidents. Vehicles often turn on this small road. When there are many vehicles waiting for traffic lights, it is easy to restrict the driver's sight, making it difficult for them to detect the movement of vehicles in the leftmost lane.

飞来横祸 三车连环相撞，红绿灯等待车辆无辜受重创

一司机欲从小路驶入车道，但因视线盲区，而未能注意到正常直行车辆，进而导致三辆车连环相撞。

这起连环交通事故于8日下午5点07分，发生在金宝峇都昔娜路，当时正值开斋节公共假期前夕，车流量明显增加。

据现场目击证人透露，肇事车辆丰田Camry起初从最右侧小路拐弯出来欲驶入车道，司机疑因视线被挡，未能及时察觉到左侧车道上正常行驶的第二国产车Axia，导致两辆车相撞。

“被撞的Axia由于突如其来的撞击导致失控，随后撞上了一旁一辆正常等待红绿灯的丰田Vios。此次事故造成三辆车相撞。”

他表示，该事故未造成人员受伤，并且在事故发生后，肇事车辆也停在一旁检查祸况。

据本报记者了解，该地段为车祸多发区，此小路常有车辆在此转弯，而等待红绿灯的车辆较多时容易限制司机的视线，使他们难以察觉最左侧车道的车辆行驶情况。
